How to add research papers, whitepapers and presentations

You can share pretty much any type of media on the Biosensor Forum either by directly uploading them from your computer, copying and pasting as text in forums and blog posts or through 3rd party document sharing services such as Scribd.com or SlideShare.net. Both of these services provide you a way to upload your documents and to get a Flash widget which can be then embedded in the Biosensor Forum.

With SlideShare you can upload and embed the following document formats: ppt, pps & pot (PowerPoint), pdf, odp (OpenOffice). Keynote users can save as Keynote documents as pdf first, then upload the pdf to SlideShare. Maximum file size is 50 MB

SlideShare allows you to upload files without registration, although you get access to more features via the free account. Once your document is uploaded and processed, you get an embed code which you can copy paste into forums, blog posts and into your profile page.

Similar to SlideShare, Scribd allows you to quickly share many different types of documents and embed it as a universal widget on other websites. The process is pretty much the same. Goto: http://www.scribd.com/upload upload your document from your computer or by entering the Url of the hosted document. Once the upload is completed and processed, you will receive a widget code, which you can embed in forum, blog posts and your profile page on the Biosensor Forum

Needless to say, please make sure that no copyrights are violated while sharing documents.

Should you have questions or need support for sharing your docs on the Biosensor Forum, please do not hesitate to ask it in this forum.
