Senior scientist and group leader within the Laboratory for Surface Science and Technology headed by Profs. Nicholas D. Spencer and Marcus Textor.

Current research fields: supported lipid membranes, platforms for membrane protein sensing and study of biological membrane properties, peptide-membrane interactions, (multi-)functional core-shell nanoparticles for biomedical imaging and drug delivery, nanoparticle interfacial assembly, nanoparticle-based assembled smart materials, nanoparticle-based lithography for biosensing and biointerfaces
